It is my contention that the rise of the internet has caused proliferation of ideas that were previously taboo topics in the media. The introduction of dating apps like Tinder has caused further disruption in dating, which has no doubt fueled the appeal of these ideas.

We see definitely the rise in interest in MGTOW (Men Going Their Own Way), This tag appeared somewhere in early 2000s and really exploded between 2010 and 2018, this latter is when social media companies caught wind of it and began suppressing it.

The tag INCEL meaning involuntarily celibate became a go to insult among normies. Ironically, most dudes that called me an INCEL looked like they didn't have much success with women. Another ironic thing is that at least half of the men under 30 in developed countries fit the definition of INCEL.

This is the first Uranus-Pluto square in this cycle which began in 1960s. This is consequence of the sexual revolution and even INCEL is a boomer insult. Women now have the pill and can have sex with whoever, that doesn't mean they choose whoever though. Women have right to abortion so they don't have to feel consequences for their actions. This makes most men sexless, and without relationships. No-fault divorce causes 50% divorce rate and the decline of the number of marriages altogether.
