Baphomet is Sophia
I have discovered something quaint. If you write Baphomet in Hebrew that is בפןמת Bet Peh Vav Mem Tav, and interpret it through the Atbash cipher will you get שןפיא Shin Vav Peh Yod Aleph -Sophia.
The Atbash is cipher that you receive by substituting the first letter of the alphabet for the last and the second letter for the second last. In Hebrew the first letter is Aleph and the last is Tav, the second is Bet, and the second last is Shin - Atbash - אתבש
The Hebrew alphabet contains twenty two letters so it can be divided into equal rows of eleven signs. The Baphomet figure has appeared in the interrogation of the Knights Templar. The Templars were accused of worshipping an idol called Baphomet but some out there believe the Templar’s could have uncovered secrets under the Temple Mount or learned gnostic secrets from the Sufis.
The figure of Baphomet was resurrected by the French occultist Eliphas Levi in the figure of the Sabbatic goal. It is not clear from trial interrogations of the Knights Templar what the idol they were accused of worshipping looked like. So Levi created a goat headed figure with a falus, breasts, pointing one hand upwards and other pointing to the ground. White moon and a dark moon. And finally a torch sticking out of its head. And therefore the figure unites opposites, and also is a symbol of knowledge, the Sophia.
